This was our second resort ... three story buildings grouped around colourful gardens and pools. 
It was really easy to relax and enjoy the pools and the beautiful beach.
The bay had large rollers and we found the salt water very buoyant.
Youngsters practice with their boards before they move to beaches with larger rollers.
The sunsets were breathtaking, starting with a pastel palette and working towards gold and bronze. 
After almost three weeks of 80 F sunshine, we headed home to spring.
We still seem to be stuck in spring ... June has been cool and rainy in British Columbia.
This is our second trip to Kauai and we still haven't run out of places to visit!
