Tibetian Sand Paintngs
On our visit to the Anthropology Museum at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, we watched a Tibetan Sand Painting being done.

Here are the two monks who were working on it.
They sit on bended knees with their hand and funnel tool resting on a pillow. the tool is filled with coloured sand. They tap the side of it to release a few grains of sand at a time.
This is an amazing art form requiring concentration, a steady hand and total focus.
