I've posted a double sided page from a Fiber Art Book that I've been working on with an internet group - this is the last page. Five of us are exchanging ... this one is 'Nature & Trees'. The work is based on photos I took on our trip through BC, Alta & Sask.
These trees were at the top of Sulphur Mt. Old and beaten by cold winds, rain and snow, this skeleton tree could be hundreds of years old - due to slow growth at this altitude.
My theme was that trees are a metaphor for life. We struggle and eventually, our time is past. The cycle of life goes on.
This young tree is struggling to survive, among the rocks and in spite ot the inhospitable climate!

Good theme, and excellent rendition. I love the pix of the forest in the previous post too - and it's good to come across the Golden Ears. Thanks for your comments on my blog, drop by again! Margaret
