Abstract Challenge: Mystic & Asia

Mystic:
In pre-Christian Ireland, Brigid of Kildare was a goddess who was the 'keeper of the eternal flame'. She also cared for women, children and the poor, acted with compassion and worked for justice. A smart lady ... when Christianity came, she became a virgin and kept the same job description. She also started a nunnery and her fame spread throughout Europe.

Asia: the dragon is associated with the emperor's power. I stenciled him on black with metallic bronze paint. I hand embroidered with outline stitch around the dragon and added a few design elements.
