Reflections of the past!

As a Home Ec teacher, I kept clothing from past decades to show textile students the progression of dress design. When I was cleaning out the closet, I found them. I thought about my niece who is about my size way back when. So ... I asked her if she was interested in 'vintage' clothing.

I made this dress for myself when I was 22,  in the mid '60's.
For some strange reason, the velvet photographs as blue. It is actually a deep teal.
My niece walked into my clothes as if they were made for her.
