valentine birthday!

This year was one of those milestone birthdays ... 

First, I celebrated with quilting friends:

Leslie, Judy G (our gracious hostess), me, Judy L, Karen

Next we celebrated at a Chinese restautant.

When we arrived home, the house was decorated with hearts everywhere.

Me with the cake and my LOVE BUG who had arranged it all!

We have been married 46 years and we are best friends (bonus)!

Lovely flowers from our wonderful son!

This love bug brought the whole group to giggles: 

Minature roses from Hubby ... to plant in the courtyard.

Thanks to everyone who made this day special, including My son and Torrie, the three of the guys who didn't get their photos taken. And ... the two couples who have been dear friends since we were in our 20's! The best part is that 70 is only a number ... what is important is how you feel!
