Together in La Conner

La Conner Quilt and Textile Museum in the Gaches Mansion

I have started a new blog. It documents a show in the making. It is called 'Together'. I am organizing the show, we have a  fibre artist working together with an artist who works in another medium. They have collaborated on one project or have chosen a theme and each artist produces a piece. Projects are shown in process and photos will be added right up to the actual show. The show promises to be exciting with a wide variety of art. All artists are from British Columbia.

The show will open September 28th, 2011 and run to December 28, 2011. The location is in La Conner, a wonderful little tourist town on the west coast in Washington, a little north of Seattle. It is at the La Conner Quilt and Textile Museum.  http://www.laconnerquilts.com/store/
