Abstract Cahallenge Oct. 'Shadows in the Forest'

The challenge was shade/shadow. The inspiration was a hike around Johnson Lake in Alberta, Canada. The sun was low in the sky and glowing through the trees.

My photo was printed on fabric and enhanced with fabric ink and free motion stitching.

This completes my 12 little quilts for 2010. I enjoy doing them ... they allow me to explore ideas and try new techniques. Some even find themselves being made into a larger quilt.
