Abstract Challenge June - Garden
The garden challenge offers many options. I chose to feature the insects who are an essential part of the plant environment. I read Rachel Carson's "Silent Spring' in the 60's and it affected my point of view. We need to avoid poisons that broadcast to all insects. Without the bees & butterflies, we will have no plants!The back of the quilt shows a shadow of the butterfly in the leaves. This is not the future we want!

That is an amazing piece!I love that you used both sides to make your statement and yet they both stand up by themselves, too!
