I started this blog in Jan. 2007 when I decided to join a hand embroidery challenge. Each Tuesday, Sharon Bloggon posted a new stitch with directions - after 52 weeks I put a binder together with all my samples ... a great resource. You can see my work if you click on Links: EMBROIDERY in the right hand column. Hand embroidery is something you can stick in your pocket and do anywhere. What I did was a practice traditional stitch and then I tried using the stitch in a post card size little bit of art.
