They tell me that retired folk have lots of spare time ... don't believe it! We used to take more 'days off'. They were called weekends.
So ... we took a day to visit Tony's mom in the care home, go for a walk in the park, out for dinner and to a movie!
The movie was Clint Eastwood's Gran Torino. I hated his early movies. However, this one is worth seeing. It's all about life lessons. I doubt if the acting will win an academy award - but, the characters are compelling.
