a hot 'cuppa'

A hot cup of tea is a pleasant, relaxing part of many people's day. We often think of sharing a cup with a friend. Recently we visited friends and were treated to the prettiest pot of tea! This is served in a glass teapot so that you can see the little ball of green tea that unfolds to reveal a flower with a red center and white petals.
Another treat is this wallquilt made by Marie Kajdasz. It illustrates two elderly ladies walking through the crisp Ontario snow and looking forward to 'a cuppa'. You can see more of Marie's work on this link

The tea is beautiful! I've always thought it was pretty when jasmine blossoms open in your tea, but this takes that to a new level.
