Elk graze on grass along the Trans Canada Highway. Rocky mountain sheep graze on the hillside and nibble the mineral rich sandstone. A female sniffs the air and the male is watchful.
That's a lot of elk to see on the side of the highway! Wow. The pictures of Canmore are great...we'll be going to Banff in two weeks--I'm so excited! ~Margaret
