TAST week # 35 Shisha Mirror Stitch

This stitch is used to attach items to fabric. It consists of a grid that is later laced & knotted to hold the item in place.
The larger item is a round shisha mirror, the smaller ones are square shisha mirrors and the smallest is a sequin.
Additional background stitching adds a more interesting design!Here is the cable chain and also some detached chain and knots.

They look great Vivian---a sequin yikes --I don't think my fingers would allow me to do anything that small

I like the thread you have used for this sample - its great. Shisha is a fun stitch and as you say lots of things can be attached to fabric using it.
