For the last few years, I have worked with an Abstract Challenge group on the internet. This weekend I met Carla, one of the group members from Holland. We went on a short tour of Stanley Park and visited some quilt shops. The next day, with husbands, we all went to the Anthropology Museum in Vancouver and followed by a very enjoyable dinner.
Carla spoilt me, she presented me with a special abstract little quilt and a postcard.
She also gave me a little bag of 'goodies' that will find their way into my abstract quilts in the future.

I enjoyed seeing the photo of you and Carla! You should have announced it on the abstract challenge list or maybe you did and I missed it. Carla's pieces are lovely!
