One of my ongoing projects is to make small 'quiltlets' for an Abstract Challenge internet group. The subject for January was 'FAMILY'. My interpretation: the swirl is my immediate family, the other swirls are people who interact with us. And, the heart represents the love and care that is needed to nurture.
