Fall in Maple Ridge

All landscapes have a beauty of their own, this October morning was misty ... giving surreal images.
The Fraser River has many pilings that log booms can be tied to. The river is very silty and the shore is fine mud. At one time it flooded each year ... resulting in  rich farming land.
On another day, it is sunny with blue skies. Years ago, my dad brought this sugar maple tree home from my grandparent's farm in Ontario. Each year, it reminds me of the beauty of Ontario in the fall.

Tucked under a bush in a parking lot, are these beautiful mushrooms. It is Amanita Muscaria according to 'Rogers Mushrooms' and has an edibility rating of deadly!
