S Ontario - Peterbourgh

My husband joined me in Toronto after our CQAAC meetings and we spent an additional week 'in and about'.
A cardinal welcomed us.
Our first trip was to Peterbough to visit a cousin of my husband's father. He is 99 and in poor health. The care home he is in had murals on the wall - what a great idea for a blank wall!
The park across the way had a river running through. Interesting shadows fell on the now.
We had a look around Peterbough.
There is a great little quilt shop on the main road.
There are some beautiful old homes and churches with amazing architecture, this one built in 1837.As we head back to Toronto, the trees glisten with ice.
