butterlies & macro photography

On the right hand side of my blog, take a look at the two 'gadgets'. They are photographs that cycle each time someone opens the blog.
The first is photography of butterflies.
The second is macro (close up) photographs. You can only guess at what it is ... this one, I think, is fabric. They often look like abstracts.

I wondered what 'gadgets' were! What beautiful photos. I just bought a book named "Nano Nature" by Richard Jones that has incredible photos that were taken by an electron microscope and then color enhanced. So many of the photos could be translated into fiber art.
