Abstract Challenge Feb/09 Travel

In the last couple of years, I've travelled by air and been fascinatedby the geography below. This summer, we chased the sun west fromToronto to Vancouver. The sun glowed and reflected off the clouds below.

I used pencil crayons that are a fabric dye. You use it as a pencil and wash away the excess. It becomes permanent. I wasn't happy with the quaility. The fabric had the marks of a pencil. It is to difficult to hold the fabric completely flat. However, it could be useful to outline or enhance.
I then stitched over the colour.
