Canadian Rocky Mountains

CANADIAN ROCKY MOUNTAINS:
wall hanging for my brother's new condominium in Canmore.
Where ever you go, the scenery is fabulous! The Rocky Mts. tower over layers of hills with mists in the valleys. As a tourist, you can easily get glimpses of wildlife ... while the wildlife keeps an eye on you!

That is such a beautiful quilt!! What a gorgeous scene....
Thanks so much for your lovely comments on my blog. Couldn't find your email address to answer directly. Treasure Gold, is a beautiful wax finish which you can get in a few different colours. I used gold and amethyst. I just put a bit on my finger tip and rub it in, and it has such a beautiful finish!!

Oh My Gosh Vivian - this quilt is spectacular. You paid me a visit so I thought I'd pay you one. I'm so glad I did - I love your work. And YES there will be pictures of the completed quilt once all of the "slices" are put together. We did one back in October (see my Oct. 10 post) and I will hopefully be taking pictures of that completed quilt on Jan. 12.

Have to add to all the comments on your wonderful hanging, it is spectacular.
right at the moment with 42 degree heat I would love to be where you are. One day perhaps.
Happy New Year and may all your wishes come true.

Wow, your landscape quilt is fantastic! It must have taken a lot of time to make. I bet your brother will love it!

I have been considering taking a class on making landscape quilts...after seeing yours, I'm even more interested in trying it out.

This is a terrific landscape!!!! Everything about it works...which isn't easy in fabric. Just awesome....I love how your beautiful B.C. comes through in your work.
