This was essentially a 'doodle' in thread.The radiating purple stitches are short & long, filling in the space.
The cast on stitch can be seen in yellow yarn in the upper left and right. It gives a crochet look.
Then I practiced wheels: buttonhole, woven and spider. I also did a few french knts and detached chain. The multicoloured yarn is made from threads recycled from Indian sari clothing.
