TAST # 17 Running Stitch

The Running Stitch is a stitch used in many cultures. The idea is that several stitches can be taken on the needle and pulled through.
The yellow thread shows lacing/whipping. The variagated thread is a random pattern that could be used for filling an area.

I like the way you've experimented with running stitch, for me I think I spent more time researching this stitch on the net than on my actual tast, it is used in so many ways, I looked at Kanthas blackwork etc. I got so distracted surfing around. Well done. Annette
